Diver's Suit 1921 Harry Houdini Even though Harry Houdini could escape from virtually anything, deep sea divers could not extricate themselves from a diver's suit if they found themselves in trouble. Houdini invented modification's to the diver's suit that enabled the diver to slip out of the suit quickly and without assistance. The suit also allowed a lower air pressure to be supplied to the diver, thus reducing the decompression time for the diver to avoid the bends. |
